The Locksley school sits in the heart of south Norwich providing services to much of South Norfolk as well as the city itself. Situated in a former middle school site Locksley benefits from outstanding facilities which were extensively refurbished in 2010. Specialist facilities for Science, Technology ICT and Food Tech are complemented by high quality general purpose classrooms and extensive outdoor space including a large playing field and allotments. The School also has specialist facilities for primary age students which are distinct from those used with older students as well as a separate outdoor space for younger learners.
The Locksley school is also a hub for the local Harford community hosting weekly sunday league football fixtures as well as a popular weekly indoor flea market. The site also features a shared allotment where local residents and Locksley students share the use of a specially designed gardening area including poly tunnel, raised beds and a large shed. This area has been carefully designed to allow access for disabled residents as well as students from the school medical needs department.
The Locksley school facilities are also available to rent for local businesses and community groups. If you would like to know more about hiring our facilities please contact Gill Wardlow on 01603 508520
